Well, it happened my friends. We’ve now reached number 25. Half of the United States of America have gotten behind the Second Amendment as it was intended. Well, one step closer to how it was intended.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the recently passed legislation that allows state residents to carry a gun without a permit or license. This is huge in showing the anti-gun crowd that most of the country does NOT want more gun control laws.
There are already thousands of gun control laws on the books, and they’ve all proven to be unreliable at stopping criminals from committing crimes.
The main reason why this is true, is because the only people who follow these gun laws are the people who care about following the law. The people with bad intentions have no desire to follow the laws.
Because they’re criminals.
While 25 is certainly half of the country, 26 is the one to write home about. We’re only to April and several states have joined the freedom wagon with Constitutional carry. Who is next?
Only time will tell, but I have a suspicion that we’ll be at 26 states by the end of the year.
Of course, this comes on the heels of Former VP Joe Biden reaffirming his dedication to stripping Americans of their gun rights, stating numerous lies about guns, gun owners, and gun manufacturers. But, we’ve already covered all of his regurgitation, and I don’t intend to waste my time on it right now, once more.
(Because as we all know, the 2A was not written for deer with Kevlar vests)
Finally, a word about training and taking classes to better yourself. If you live in Georgia, or any of the other Constitutional carry states it’s a good idea to continue with your training and taking a class from a good instructor.
You should always WANT to better yourself, even though you don’t HAVE to. Why? Because you’ll only be as good at stopping a threat as you have been training. If you’re doing stuff wrong, your likelihood of losing the fight increases dramatically.
In other words, just having the gun isn’t enough. You also need to be able to use it, and it’s not as easy as it looks.
Finding an instructor to teach what you’re doing wrong will only help you in the long run. Seek training, even if you don’t have to.
