This is not a safety recall and the company is calling it a magazine exchange.
CMMG has issued a recall on defective 5.7X28 AR Conversion Magazines. The company says that all 5.7 AR Conversion Magazines are affected by this recall and that they will exchange all magazines for new ones.
The defect allows the ammo to become unsecure and to sporadically eject from the magazine.
CMMG will provide prepaid shipping labels for any affected magazines to be sent back to them, and they will send you a newly redesigned mag with strengthened feed lips in return.
