Graves County, KY — A man has reportedly been shot after kicking in an elderly man’s door, on two different occasions, and breaking into the home, armed with his own shotgun.
Sheriff Hayden reported that the homeowner called the police to inform them that a mask-wearing man broke down his door to gain entry to the house at about 3AM.
The two men came into contact with each other, causing the intruder, 19 year old James Page II, to flee in his car.
Deputies searched the area and saw the evidence of the break-in, with no sign of the perp.
About an hour and a half later the elderly man dialed 911 again, reporting that his door had been kicked in again. The intruder was armed with a shotgun.
This time would have a different outcome, however, as the homeowner had his own shotgun and fired at the suspected intruder.
The intruder had fled on foot, but didn’t make it far. A severe gunshot wound had slowed him down.
He was found a short while later in the road by the police with an injury to his arm believed to have been caused by the homeowner’s shotgun.
Local emergency medical services treated Page on scene and took him to the hospital. He was airlifted to a state hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Page is currently facing the charge of first degree burglary, and others.
Conclusion:
If the gun grabbers had their way with Joe Biden’s gun control plan, they’d make it so that the victim, the 74 year old homeowner, would have been helpless in his home, left for dead after the criminally minded likely went back to eliminate his only witness to a crime.
