And neither should you.

This was originally posted in Sept 2019 but has been updated with some current events.
It blows my mind when I read on internet forums and Facebook groups how many people are willing to lose their guns in a “boating accident” once the government comes a knockin’. The moment we do that our freedom completely dies. I’ll get to my point in a moment, but let’s lay the background, first.
It should come as no surprise where I stand, but I feel as though I need to put this out there to help give other people some ground to stand on. The gun grabbers, as I like to call them, want to take our firearms. They don’t even hide it anymore, and looney tune Biden is leading that charge.
I’m sorry if you voted for Biden, but he is anti-freedom.
They say these things on Biden’s “factsheet,” and let’s not forget what Beto said —
Hell yes, they’re going to take our AR-15s and AK47s … or so he says.
HAHA. I have to hand it to him, he’s either got balls of steel, or is incredibly stupid. I’m leaning towards the latter.
Let’s remember for a moment that he’s a criminal with burglary, DWI, and a fleeing record (that was all somehow miraculously expunged), and concentrate on the fact that a criminal wants to take our guns from us.
That should be a red flag, and if you’re a gun owner it likely is–regardless of which side of the political aisle you stand on.
And of course, let’s remember that Biden can’t even walk up a flight of stairs, nor can he speak in complete sentences. He wants to take away our right to own what we want, but needs a picture book to get through a press conference.
These are our leaders? These are the people who were elected to help protect our country?
LOL
None of that is the point, though. All of what I’ve said up till now is just the scene-setting background music.
To all the gun grabbers out there, no you are NOT. You are NOT going to be taking my AR-15, or my AK47, or any of my other guns for that matter. And, you know what else?
I didn’t lose them in a boating accident either.
The moment we all start to lose our guns in boating accidents, is the moment our freedom dies. Once that happens, we’re just one generation away from losing our freedoms on an extinction scale.
When we can’t go to the range and enjoy our guns because we “lost them” that means we can’t bring anyone else to the range to help instill that love.
If we let that happen, if it gets to that point and we lose our guns in boating accidents, refusing to prevent it from ever getting to that point to begin with, we’ll be afraid to go shooting at the range.
We’ll be afraid of going to jail.
And again, because we’ll be afraid to go to jail, our kids will see that and lose interest by default.
You hid your guns in the “lake” all those years for no reason.
All that essentially means, is that the guns we lost on the bottom of the ocean or lake are essentially just paperweights collecting dust and rust as they hide in our closets, rafters, floorboards, walls, etc.
Furthermore, only cowards lose things they have a right to.
Our kids won’t be able to enjoy our guns, and by the time they’re adults, chances are excellent that they won’t even care. That’s where we’re headed if we simply hide our guns.
Let me break this down for you Barney style in case you haven’t understood a word I’ve typed to this point:
Hiding our guns when the government comes for them is essentially the same thing as confiscation. It just takes a generation longer to happen.
They get the same thing, an unarmed populace. They understand this because they have been playing the long game since 1934.
Wake up. They’re still coming, and if you haven’t noticed, they aren’t even lying about it anymore. Why?
Because the tables have turned. They have the power and the numbers to do something. They have a crooked ATF, or AFT if you’re the president who can’t get three little letters right, who are willing to break the Constitution to make up their own set of rules.
We have to stand united. We have to come together to stop this from happening. Their goal is to take away our freedom, and I’m here to say that we cannot allow that to happen.
Our voices must be heard before it’s too late.
It’s time to buckle up folks. The ride ahead is a bumpy one, but well worth it the sacrifice.
