Cheyenne, Wyoming ~ At approximately 9:30 PM on Friday, November 26th, Cheyenne Police were called to the report of shots fired at the 3800 block of Greenway street.
Details remain thin on this story, but as of right now we know that a 51 year old male attempted to break into the above-listed residence. The man inside the residence told the suspect to leave numerous different times.
The 51 year old reportedly refused to leave and continued his attempted forceful entry to gain access to the home.
At some point after that, the 33 year old man inside the home got his gun and shot the suspect through the front door.
The suspect fled the scene, but was found a short while later at a Motel 6 on Westland Road with a gunshot wound. He was transported by ambulance to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
There are no reports as to what his injuries actually are or what his condition currently is as of this writing.
