Springfield Armory has recently announced the release of their newest rifle, a bolt action called … wait for it … the Model 2020.
These rifles reportedly offer a carbon fiber stock and the option to choose a steel or carbon fiber barrel delivering a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee. Barrel lengths range from 20″ – 22″ – 24″ depending upon what your individual needs are.
The caliber options are as follows:
- .308 Winchester
- 6.5 Creedmoor
- 6mm Creedmoor
- 6.5 PRC
Other features are fluted bolt, adjustable TriggerTech trigger, five QD mounts, a radial muzzle brake, “custom” paint job, and AICS magazine.
The paint job is either of the two colors above, called Evergreen Camo or Ridgeline Camo.
Personally speaking, I think I would have chosen a different name. Most of us want to forget that 2020 ever even existed. But hey, what do I know?
