S&W has been teasing for more than a few days that they were releasing something new, just in time for the NRAAM 2021 to kick off.
Today, that new thing was announced in the form of the M&P 12 Bullpup Shotgun.
What is a bullpup shotgun?
A Bullpup is a design that helps to keep the overall length shorter and more maneuverable by changing the spot where the firearm is loaded by setting the barrel further back into the gun itself.
The guns are generally loaded behind the grip instead of the traditional method which is in front of it. Everything is set further back while keeping minimum barrel lengths set forth by law.
Because of the way they’re set up, they’re often thought to be great home defense shotguns.
M&P 12:
According the Smith’s website the M&P12 features two tubular magazines to hold six or seven shells each, depending on the shell’s length.
It looks to have interchangeable grip inserts, a 19 inch barrel, 27.8 inches overall, with sling mounts.

I’ll be going to NRAAM next month so I can get some new video material for our channel. If you want to learn more about this, or any of the other guns being announced at that show, please make sure you subscribe to our channel.
