SHOT Show 2022 is upon us. The below article lists out what you can expect from us in our coverage of the event, even though we’re largely flying by the seat of our pants this year because nobody really knows what to expect.
The entire show is going to be different than previous years. Everything from the floor layout to the way we interact with each other is different. But, it’ll work out fine because we’re all starting from scratch and will have to work it out together.
The industry as a whole (well, minus a few companies), made the decision to go all in for SHOT Show 2022. We are among them and are heading out to Las Vegas on Saturday morning. We’re hitting the road and plan to arrive at about dinner time on Sunday.
We’ll wake up early on Monday morning to head out to Industry Day at the Range. We will spend the entire day there shooing guns and recording as much footage as humanly possible.
After it’s done we’ll start the long trek back to our BNB and get cracking on video editing. Previous years have shown that there is zero cell service at the range so you won’t hear from us at all that entire day, until evening.
My crew and I will then head to the actual show floor for the next two days where we will hopefully be able to record video interviews with representatives showcasing their new products. I only have a small team this year and I’m not sure how much we’ll be able to get done but we’ll do our best.
I plan to head to the following booths:
- S&W
- Daniel Defense
- Savage
- Federal Premium
- Colt
- Kel-Tec
- Palmetto State Armory
- Mossberg
- Leupold
- Ruger
- Holosun
- Glock
- And so many more
You can follow along with our progress by subscribing to our YouTube channel and turning on all notifications. You can do so here.
Stay tuned on the website, as well, as I’m sure we’ll also be publishing articles showcasing new products and highlights of the show.
