Henry Repeating Arms is no stranger to the gun industry here in the USA. The company has a long and stellular reputation. How long you may ask? Starting this month Henry is beginning its 25th anniversary celebration as one of the country’s largest long gun manufacturers and the leading lever action maker.
Personally, I have owned and utilized Henry firearms for several years now and can say their name and reputation for delivering a high-quality product is well earned. After all, Henry’s motto is also a promise to its customers to be “Made in America, Or Not Made at All.”

Just how did the Henry company get started? Anthony Imperato Henry Repeating Arms Founder and CEO took his leap into gun making by taking out a home equity loan in 1993. He started the Colt Blackpowder Arms Company, which made historic Colt revolvers and muskets under license from Colt’s Manufacturing.
His father, Louis Imperato was also part of this start up business. One thing led to the next and the father-son duo leveraged decades of the family’s experience in the gun business and soon began developing a rimfire lever action rifle in 1996.
In March 1997, the first Henry Repeating Arms model H001 Classic Lever Action .22 rifles was shipped from their small factory in Brooklyn, New York. As the saying goes, the rest is history.

Today Henry is headquartered in Rice Lake, Wisconsin with the company employing over 550 people and operating three manufacturing facilities between Wisconsin and New Jersey. Offerings from Henry today includes over 200 different rifles and shotguns.
The diversity of calibers and finishes provide long guns for hunting, home protection, collectors, and a wide variety of shooting sports endeavors. The most well-known standouts are the Henry Golden Boy .22 (the company’s flagship rifle), and its centerfire counterpart, the Henry Big Boy.
Other unique offerings include a complete line of youth-sized rifles and shotguns, a large collection of engraved Tribute Edition firearms, and a tactical approach to the lever gun with the X Model series.

What makes Henry firearms so appealing you may ask? To start with all Henry rifles and shotguns are supported by a lifetime warranty, a personal guarantee from Anthony Imperato himself. All Henry firearms are made right here in the USA, a big plus in my book.
Henry is very supportive of community issues and fund-raising efforts via a charitable branch of the company called “Guns for Great Causes”. Through this branch Henry Repeating Arms has made significant financial contributions to children’s hospitals and families of critically ill children.
This cause also helps support active-duty and military veterans’ organizations, law enforcement and first responder organizations, pro-Second Amendment organizations, shooting sports education groups, and wildlife and habitat conservation entities.

Make no mistake, Henry will not be letting their 25th anniversary pass without continuing their long-standing support of great causes.
As part of Henry’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, the company is donating 1,000 Golden Boy “Silver Anniversary” Limited Edition rifles to raise a total of $1,000,000 for distribution among all of these deserving constituencies listed above.

As mentioned previously, I have owned Henry firearms for many years now and look forward to the offerings from Henry Repeating Arms for their 25th Anniversary. I always have room for another quality Henry lever gun in the safe!
Throughout 2022 Henry fans will have lots to look forward to! During this year Henry Repeating Arms will continue to celebrate 25 years with the release of several limited-edition models, including the Golden Boy “Silver Anniversary” Edition, a special edition of the New Original Henry, a 25th-anniversary edition of the H001 Classic Lever Action .22, and more.
