Brazilian Law Student Fatally Shoots Self During Game of Russian Roulette

A 20 year old law student from Brazil fatally shot himself in the head during a game of Russian Roulette. Russian Roulette is a game in which the players take turns rotating the partially loaded cylinder of a revolver, pointing it at their head, and pulling the trigger.

The revolver had one round inside of it, technically making it a loaded gun. Of course alcohol was involved, and this was apparently not their first time playing it. The surviving player recalled during talks to police that he played the deadly game at least four other times with his now-deceased friend.

This particular game of Russian Roulette involved two men, the 20 year old who died, and another 20 year old friend. The friend who is still alive told police that the now-deceased friend called him up asking him to come over, drink, and listen to music.

They then passed the 38 revolver back and forth a total of two different times, before the gun actually went bang, killing the 20 year old. Police are unsure who the revolver belongs to at this point, and it is unclear if they plan to investigate further.

We don’t usually cover news outside of the country, but feel like this is something that needs to get out there. Tell your friends that Russian Roulette is deadly. If your friends know, tell your kids.
