CVA Accura V2 Rifle:

CVA Accura V2 Magnum Rated .45" Caliber Muzzle-Loaded Rifle:

The Connecticut Valley Arms, Accura V2 is a new and improved “Version 2” of the popular Accura model. Like its predecessor, the Accura V2 provides a level of accuracy performance that is unequaled by any break action rifled muzzleloader due to its premium, custom quality Bergara barrel.

The Bergara barrels, are made of the highest quality 416 grade stainless steel and they have become recognized as the most accurate production rifled muzzleloader barrels in the world. Upon my own testing of one of these black powder muzzle-loading rifles in .45 caliber I can assure you they are very accurate.

An optimal 27” fluted barrel with bullet guiding muzzle, they provide just the right combination of balance, maneuverability and efficient powder burning capability for all bullet and powder combinations offering top velocities and energies for hunting, accuracy enhancing bullet guiding muzzle is just one of those features that you do not see very often as this allows all projectiles to be started down the bore straight everytime, very nice feature.

Having just run a series of accuracy and ballistics tests on a new .45 caliber CVA Accura V2 Model muzzle-loading rifle with ambidextrous thumbhole stock, I am very convinced that CVA makes an extremely accurate rifled muzzleloader or at least the models that come with Bergara barrels on them. It is more than obvious that with legendary Ed Shilen serving as technical advisor at the Bergara barrel plant, those stainless steel rifled muzzleloader barrels are being made with extreme precision and are incredibly strong as well.

Note: Ed Shilen, has been making target rifles since 1967 and has set 13 world records.

At the time when I purchased this .45 caliber rifle it came with a money back accuracy guarantee, shoot it for two weeks, if you don't like it send it back cleaned and in the box and get a full refund. Well, they're not getting it back, for sure. I mounted a good Leupold scope on this rifled muzzleloader and headed for the range. The first three shots down range went into one hole in the target and was very hard to tell that it was three shots.

This black powder muzzle-loading rifle features another leap forward in easy cleaning with CVA’s patent pending “Quick-Release Breech Plug”, the only such breech plug on the market that can be easily removed with your fingers, no tool required, after the gun has been fired numerous times just simply, using light finger pressure unscrew it for easy cleaning, there are two different breech plugs for this rifle, one is for pelleted powder, the other is for granular powder designed for Blackhorn 209 but it works with other loose powders as well.

The Accura V2 is very simple to operate because the breeching lever is built right into the trigger guard, the spur that sticks down from the trigger guard requires only a slight pull to open the action, making the Accura one of the easiest opening break action muzzle-loaded rifle on the market, and the entire gun can be disassembled by removing just one screw.

The ergonomically designed stock is fully ambidextrous and is available in both standard and thumbhole designs. The thumbhole design gives the user complete control of the rifle while either shooting off-hand or just opening the action. Very Lightweight and extremely accurate black powder muzzle-loading rifle. This .45 caliber muzzle-loaded rifle is very flat shooting and powerful as well.
